PTA Planning Meetings

Will your child be attending Snoqualmie Middle School in the fall?
If you have a current CKMS sixth(6th) or seventh(7th) grader living in the attendance
boundaries of Snoqualmie Elementary School or Cascade View Elementary School,
your student will attend SMS when it transitions back to a middle school from its
current use as the freshman campus of Mount Si High School.

The Snoqualmie Valley PTSA Council is beginning the process of establishing a PTA
for Snoqualmie Middle School, and we are looking for any and all interested parents
and community members to attend either of the following informational meetings.

Tuesday, Feb. 12, 10:30 am
Snoqualmie Library
7824 Center Blvd. SE, Snoqualmie

Wednesday, Feb. 13, 7:00 pm
Mount Si High School Freshman Campus (future home of SMS)
9200 Railroad Ave., Snoqualmie

This meeting will include information about Washington State PTA and the
importance of local PTAs, as well as an overview of what steps will need to be taken
to reauthorize the charter of Snoqualmie Middle School PTA 2.18.33 and obtain
nonprofit status. All interested community members are invited to attend. Attending
this meeting in no way obligates you to join PTA, volunteer for a leadership role, or
run for office as a PTA board member.
