What is CKMS PTSA?

PTSA is the organized voice of CKMS families, teachers, and staff that brings extra enrichment to every student at CKMS. We do this by:

  • Granting several thousands of dollars in grant money to teachers to enrich classroom learning
  • Providing books to the library and classrooms during Book Fair
  • Organizing events such as the Welcome BBQ, Staff Appreciation, Art Gallery, etc

Membership Benefits

  • A copy of the CKMS 2008/09 Student Directory containing class lists, contact information, and much more! The directory connects your family with teachers, staff members, and every child/family who provides PTSA with contact information. This invaluable directory is available only to PTSA members.
  • A unified voice of parents, teachers, and staff. Every member has a voice and vote at PTSA meetings in deciding how PTSA can best advocate for all students.
  • Organized fundraising capabilities, resulting in a richer educational experience for all students at CKMS.
  • Support of and benefits from Snoqualmie Valley School District PTSA Council, Washington State PTA, and National PTA. In fact, almost all of your membership fee pays for child advocacy work at the local, state, and national levels. Be sure to check out the state and national websites to see what benefits are available to you!
